What a lovely new family!

We had a special experience this weekend. we had host family match-up on Saturday at brunch. I couldn't wait to meet my host family, because every other students had finished their hot family match-up with a splendid lunch. When I waited for my host family at Commons, my heart beat so quickly! Finally they came, and I said "Hi!" with a pretty nervous voice.

They seemed like very nice host family. They are 4 people in their family and 2 dogs. My host father is very tall, and he looks kind. My host mother is a law school teacher, and she is interested in Japan. She asked a lot of questions about us and Japan. My host sister who is 16 years old is very cute. She is also aggressive and talked with me a lot, so we were very happy. Finally, my host brother is 13 years old. He looked very shy and sometimes my host father said him "During my drive from my home to here, I said many times "don't be shy, be positive please ask questions to girls!" but he goes like this, I'm sorry. maybe he was very nervous." and he chuckled. We were laughing when we heard what he said.

What a lovely host family! I have looking forward to having a great time. to having a great time.Finally, my host family gave us a welcome present! The gifts were beautifully wrapped! The present was a very cute pen and some memos. I'll use these a lot!
