Surprise Party!★

We celebrated Miyuki's birthday. Birthday is very nice, because we have our birthday only once a year. March 30th is Miyuki's birthday! That's the day that we celebrated it. Miyuki is my group member. She is 20 years old now. We always have a party every time it is someone's birthday in my group,so last Sunday, we planned a surprise birthday party for her. Luckily, nobody in my group had homestay on this day, so we all could have a birthday party for her. I thought everyone did a good job to make this party successful.

Each member had a different job to prepere for the party. Some of my group members bought her birthday present and others have bought some snack for the party. Everybody made birthday card or made balloon to decorate our dormitory's living room. My job was to make birthday card. There was a person who is good artist in my group, so she made almost all of card. I was just watching and telling advice, but it's OK because I have good feeling to celebrate her!

Miyuki went to the church in that morning, so it was easy to prepare surprise party. We had some balloon each other and we arranged to make line like an arch. The nicest surprise was Miyuki's host family came to our dormitory. Of course, it was secret. They came to bring big birthday cake and present for her. We said Miyuki that we will go downtown, so she thoufht she was going to go downtown. When she came to the living room, she was very surprised and cried!! We sang a birthday song and gave present for her from us. Her host family welcomed and celebrated her warmly and they took some pictures. When I watched this scene, I seemed to be cry. They looked like a real family. We played the game. It's donkey game. It's kind of American traditional game. We also played twister. We all did crazy face. I had a muscle pain next day.

I like to give surprisefor someone, so I enjoyed surprise party today and I hope Miyuki will spend wonderful year.
