Enjoyable Shopping☆

Group 3 went to Northtown and downtown with our RA for orientation. It was our time to go to there. My RA, Nayeli, taught us everything about these place, for example, where shopping mall is, where bus stop is, how to get to the shopping mall. It was surprised and excited because I have never seen American streets before. I have only seen them in the movies. The roads in Spokane are wider than roads in Japan, and buildings are taller and cuter. When I saw the streets from the bus, I wasn't bored.

On the bus, I was surprised when a person who was in a wheelchair got on the bus. When he got off the bus, the bus driver pushed the button. Then, a moving machine which he can use to get off appeared from the bus. It was a kind of elevator. I have never seen in Japan. This structure of the bus is more useful and comfortable for people who ride wheelchairs.

When we arrived at Northtown, we had free time. I visited many shops and bought some T-shirts. Some of them were cheaper than Japanese T-shirts. I ate an ice cream at Baskin Robbins. In Japan, we have also this ice cream shop, but it's not same in Japan as. Baskin Robbins in America is bigger than Japanese. It's about twice this size. I like ice cream so I was happy but it was too much for me eating.
