Favorite Japanese Food

Today, I went to sushi.com restaurant with my group members by bus. It is famous as Japanese specialty store in downtown Spokane. I was looking forward to going there because I have been missing Japanese food since I left Japan. For example, rice, Miso-soup, raw fish and so on. Japanese food is healthier than American food. When I live in Japan, I often wanted to eat high calorie food like steak, pizza, hamburgers and hot dogs, but now, I miss healthy foods.

When we arrived there, I smelled a Japanese smell. It made me happy in an instant, and I felt hungry. I ordered ''Tempura-Donburi" which is tempura in the rice bowl for the Japanese clerk. When I ordered it, someone laughed at me and asked me "Here is the sushi. com restaurant, why don't you order sushi ?" I thought it is a good point, but I ordered a big bowl any way, because I like big bowls very much and I thought sushi is very expensive for me. In Japan, we can buy a couple of sushi for about one dollar in a sushi bar, but in America, it's not a same price.I decided not to order it.

Taste of the Tempura-Donburi was really good and exactly alike Japanese it. Not only was the taste good but the looks was also good. It made us happy, and we took a lot of pictures with the food. It is wonderful experience for us to eat homeland food in foreign country. Today was a special day for us.
