My usual life in America

My usual life in America is very good. I like this life. I have a lot of homework but I have a lot of free time too, so I can go out or study English. In Japan I was very busy, so I didn’t have much free time. Now I am happy. American classes are different from Japanese classes. There are fewer students in each class compare to Japanese classes, so it is easy to study. In addition, American classes have many activities. For example, I went to another college and elementary school to see students and I talked about Japanese things or American things with the students. These activities were good experiences for me to study English and learn about American customs. Japanese classes are mostly lectures, so I don’t share my opinion and we don't leave the class room. I like American classes! They are very interesting for me.

After school I often do my homework in my room or in the library. Then my friends and I go to Commons to eat dinner. After that I have a tutorial with my RA. We sometimes play games or make something or watch a movie. We must speak only English during this time. I enjoy it. Then I sometimes watch TV. I can’t understand all the English but some American shows are interesting for me. I want to understand all the English. Sometimes in the evening I study English or chat with my friends. I like this time.

Every weekend at MFWI feels like a holiday. In Japan I had a part time job, so I couldn’t rest on weekend but now I can rest or go out or study English. This makes me happy. I often go shopping at Northtown or downtown or at Shadle Center. I like shopping. In America there are many big snacks, cookies, ice cream and chocolate. I bought some of them. In addition, there are some good shops, for example, American Eagle, Abaclombie and Fitch, Old Navy, etc. I like these shops. I enjoy shopping. One day I do my homework. One day I went to the library to use a computer and watch some DVDs. The library is good because they have many computers, DVDs, magazines and books, so I can spend a lot of time there. I often go there after school and on weekends. I really enjoy my weekends.

I am enjoying this life here at MFWI and I want to experience many more things and study English before I return.
