My Precious Family In America

I had home stay last weekend. I met my host family last Tuesday so I wasn't worry about meeting my host family again. However I had never had home stay before but I was a little nervous before I met them again.

Last Friday evening, my host family picked us up at our dormitory. After we arrived at their house, first, my host mother showed us the inside of their house. It was very cute and nice! The room we stayed in was also cute and it had a private bathroom for us. After that we ate 3 kinds of pizza for dinner. I ate 2 kinds of pizza. The pizza was a little hot but it was very delicious. Then, we ate dessert my host mother made. It looked like a cake and it was topped many fruits foe example, strawberries, blueberries, melons and whipped creams. I like sweets very much so I was happy. Then, we watched a movie. Maybe it was for girls' movie and Jennifer Garner appeared in yhe movie. It was difficult for me to understand the story. After that I was tired and sleepy so I took a bath and slept.

Next morning, I slept until 9:00. The bed was very comfortable so I slept very well. In the afternoon, we went to a Women’s show. When we arrived Downtown, many citizens were having a parade. They were crazy. At the Women’s show, I saw some interesting fashion for the first time. The show was short, but I was excited and I enjoyed it very much. In the evening, we went to a high school to see the play of the wizard of Oz. However, when we arrived there, all the tickets were sold out so I couldn’t see it. Even know I couldn’t see the play but I felt very happy. After we returned to their house, we gave them some souvenirs from Japan. I was very glad that they were happy with our souvenirs. Then we saw some DVDs as we were eating ice cream. It was my host daughter's DVDs and my host father made them. Then, we showed them our pictures. It ws busy but fun!

On the last day, we had time until we went to church, so the host father and we went for a walk with his dog. My host father is very gentle and neat. Then we went to the church. It was difficult for me to understand it but it was interesting. After that we ate the last dinner. I ate mashed potates, beef like a steak and two loaves. I like the loaves very much. I spread rasberry jam which my host mother made on them. Then I ate orange jelly for dessert. My host mother cooked very well. The meal that I ate in their house was very delicious. Then we took some pictures and they took us back to our dormitory.

They were a MFWI host family for the first time, but I had a very happy and nice time with them. I felt I was happy to meet them! I’ll never forget them. My first home stay was very good!
