My Wonderful Home Stay

I had home stay from March 16 to 18. I had a wonderful time with my host family. I’ve been abroad before and had a home stay too so this was my third times to have a home stay. That’s why I had a good time wasn't worry all.

On the first day, I met my host mother Cindy and my host sister Mack after an interval of three days. I had met them three days before in Commons on Match Up day. We talked about lot of things inside the car. We took Mack to her gymnastic school in Cindy’s car and we enjoyed shopping at the Valley Mall. Cindy showed me the shop which teenager likes so I found my new favorite shop. It was pleasant time for me to talking with Cindy for me. After that, we went to Mack’s gymnastic school again and we watched her gymnastic performance. Her performance is very wonderful. This was my first time to watch a live gymnastic performance so I was very excited. On the next day, we went Downtown to watch the St patric's Day parade. I heard that on this day people should wear something green. I didn’t have any green items so I went Downtown with Cindy’s green glove on my right hand. There were many people wearing green clothes, green wig or green hat and so on. I could even see many dogs wearing green clothes. I was very excited by cheerful mood of Downtown. I watched parade on the street. Mack also was in the parad as a cheerleader. I was happy to see her dance during my home stay. I ate some green doughnuts and my tongue became green color. That’s why I had finished my second day of home stay surrounded by green. I enjoyed all things but my best memory of my home stay.It was playing on the trampoline. There is a big trampoline in their yard. Japan usually doesn’t have a big trampoline in yard so I was very surprised. I enjoyed jumping on the trampoline with Cindy, Mack and my roommate Riyo. It was very fun and it was a moment that helped us become better friends.

My pleasant home stay days passed quickly. I didn’t want to go back and I missed my host family. We are going to go to a baseball game together. I heard that my host father’s nephew plays so I’m looking forward to watching the game and seeing them again. I thank my host family for giving me such a nice weekend.
