One and half month have passed since I came to America. When I came here, everything was fresh. The Buildings, roads and foods, all the things I could see were brand-new. But, now, I’m accustomed to new surroundings and I have many new oppotunities.I found American life is good.
Here is much better than in Japan. First of all, I have increased opportunities to make contact with foreigners. The teachers of my classes are all Native American English speakers. Also, I can talk with various RAs because I live in Covington. Covington’s RAs are funny and friendly. Second, Here at MFWI I always eat three meals. When I live in Japan, I often skip breakfast. I also used to go to bed so late. After I came here, I started going to better early and get up early. I think that I am now healthier. Third, I’ve never experienced group life before, so I was worried about it. But I thought that’s not altogether bad. I came to America for the first time. It is important for me to live with my friends. I felt that I owe my nice life to my friends. I learned that it is difficult to live together with other people, too. It was because we have to cooperate with each other. For example, I have to be quiet after 11:00 p.m. and keep my dormitory clean. When I live in Japan, I live by myself. Therefore, it was not necessary to think of such a things. After I came here, I thought that it is important to help each other.
I also feel that Spokane has very beautiful nature. This size of all campas is bigger than Koushien stadium. Moreover, there is a rich natural environment in at MFWI. I’m lucky to study in such a beautiful surroundings. Also, I can see rare animals that can’t see in Japan, like a chipmunk and squrores and deer. I can find various discoveries every day. The sky is so blue and air is very fresh ....I'm likely to get fine skin!!! It's so nice to study in such a beautiful place .
I think that this study abroad program is precious experience. I want to have a meaningful time here. My friends are a good support for me. I want to learn more before I go back to Japan. I think that I will try to have a meaningful time the rest of remained two months.
