Penpal by Rina

I went to Ponderosa Elementary School to meet my penpal in my class today. My penpal's name is Annie. We exchanged letters sometimes. My impression of her from the letter is that she is cheerful and pretty. Before I met her, I was tensed up. When I got on the bus, I was very excited so I worried about whether I could talk to her well. However, she actually is kind and friendly so I was able to talk to her a lot. We had a lively conversation. She guided me around many classrooms. After that, I taught her how to make origami. We made a lot of origami. It was a little difficult for Annie but she enjoyed making it. One of her favorites was a crane. She looked very interested in it. I was glad when she liked it. I am very happy because I was able to tell the good Japanese tradition to people who live in foreign countries. While we were eating lunch, we talked about a lot of things. She likes that movie, "High School Musical" and I have seen this movie before so we were excited. "High School Musical" is an interesting movie. I was pleased to find that we have something in common. Time flies when we are having fun. Without notice, the time came when we had to say good-bye. I was sad to leave the school. I missed Annie. I hope to see her again.
