I met my host family on Sunday. My roommate and I went to Commons at 12:30 pm. My host mother and her daughter came to Commons at about 1:30 pm. My RA, Anna took them to us. I introduced myself as Yasumi, 19 years old and five people in my family and my host mother introduced herself. My host mother's name is Kris and her daughter's name is Lily. My host mother has a daughter and twin sons. Her daughter, Lily is 9 years old. Her twin sons are 5 years old.
We ate lunch together and talked about family, Japan and hobbies. Lily can play soccer and swim. Her hobbies are shopping and playing soccer. Kris talked about her twin sons. Their hobby is plying TV games. She showed us pictures. The picture came out her daughter and sons. Her sons, Sam ab Jack are very cute!! I thought I want to meet them. I am looking forward to meet them.
My roommate and I told them our hometown, Kobe. We talked about climate. For example, we can see a lot of snow in Spokane, but we rarely see snow in Kobe. My roommate had a brochure of Hyogo, our hometown. We showed her and her daughter it. I had a good time with my host mother and her daughter.
