From April 7 to 12, I went on an East Coast tour. My group is travel group 1 so I could go to Boston and Washington D.C. earlier than other groups. My friends and I planned to go shopping in Boston so we looked for shops on the Internet before the East Coast trip. Anyway I was looking forward to this trip before many days.
My favorite places in Boston were Quincy Market and Prudential Center. My friends , my group, and I love shopping so we just couldn't wait for shopping time. Quincy Market is a lively square and has many food shops, clothes shops and bazaars so we could buy many souvenirs here. I bought some clothes and ate lobster sandwich because Quincy Market is famous for it. It was so delicious. My friends and I were satisfied. Then we went to the Prudential Center. I bought some cosmetics, two lipsticks and two eyeliners. Then I bought a key case and a key ring at the COACH shop. Finally our group went to Cheesecake Factory and I bought some GODIVA chocolate cheesecake and original cheesecake. They were more delicious than any other cakes. I thought I want to eat them again. In these places, I enjoyed very much.
Other favorite places in Washington D.C. were capitol and Lincoln Memorial was also grand. It was so huge, more than I imagined. I was glad to see the Gettysburg Address. When I studied English in Japan, I memorized it. I was happy to see it. I realized Lincoln's greatness again. It was so fun for me that visited a lot of Memorials.
This trip was a complete trip for me. If I have a chance, I want to visit other places and I thought that I want to study about American history more to understand Memorials.
