Movie theater by Ai

Today, our group went to the theater to watch a movie. My RA, Sara, has taken us to a lot of places, so I'm happy. The movie we watched was Horton Hears a Who. It was written by Dr. Seuss. He is also famous in Japan, so I know about him. I went to the theater for the first time. I thought the places was very crowded even for a weekday. Also, I was surprised at the difference in price between America and Japan. Generally, in Japan we have to pay about 15 dollars, but I paid only 8 dollars in America. Though I wanted to watch a suspense movie, Sara said to me "It's difficult for you to understand the English, maybe." That was because there are no subtitles in Japanese, so we decided on animation. It was so interesting! I was moved by the friendship, and I was watching it with tears in my eyes. The English of the movie wasn't difficult, so I understood most of the story. By the way, I realized something when I was watching the movie. It is the difference of sense of values between Americans and Japanese people. At impressive scene for me or my friends, other American people were laughing. I was very surprised. I think each country has some differences of ideas. Today, I discovered many cultures. Thank you Sara. : )
