Seattle trip by Mai

I went to Seattle this weekend. First, I went to Safeco Field where the Seattle Mariners play baseball. I was surprised, because Ichiro was very famous there. Japanese people are very proud of him. Next, I went to Pike Place Market to go to Original Starbucks. Its mark was brown, so it was interesting. The next day, I went to Olympia. It's the capital of Washington State. The capitol building was very beautiful and traditional. It's the third oldest building in Washington State. The chandelier in the circle hall was made by Tiffany. It was very gorgeous. Then I went to Washington State History Museum and Tacoma Art Museum. I learned the history of Washington State. I wore an old dress. After that I went to Tillicum Village. I saw a show called "Dances on the Wind". In this show, I could hear Native American stories and songs, and see Native American dances. It was very interesting. I ate a piece of salmon, and it was very delicious!! On the last day of the Seattle trip, I went to the Space Needle. I could survey the view of Seattle. No picture can do justice to the scene. After that I went to Pike Place Market. It was very lively, and there were many appetizing foods. I enjoyed the Seattle trip very much. I'm looking forward to going to the East Coast!!
