MOVIE by Saki

I went to see a movie downtown last Saturday with my RA and group. We watched "JUNO". It is a comedy and drama. It was the first time that I saw a film in America. I was surprised that most of American people laugh loudly in the movie theater. It was my the cultural observation, but I like this character, and I did this action. Juno is the main character's name. She is sixteen years old, but she was pregnant. It's a big problem for her and her family. They trust their daughter's judgment, and she looks for an adoptive family who suits the unborn child. Afterwards, she contacted the couple who have been unable to conceive a child of their own. They are eager to adopt Juno's child, but they faced a problem about divorce. If I were in her position, I couldn't do like she did. Maybe I couldn't bear my child, because I don't have enough money and responsibility. This movie presented a difficult topic for us. That night we talked about this movie, especially about being pregnant. We discussed the differences in birth systems. In America, everyone can get a pill easily, but it's expensive in Japan, because we should be responsible for our own behavior.
