Happy Birthday

I had a very good time today. February 24th is my birthday. My birthday celebrated by many people today. First, my friends came to my room and said, ''Happy Birthday!!'' It was exactly 12:00 a.m. I was surprised and happy, so I could sleep well last night. Then, I was given birthday mail from my Japanese friends and family. It is about 17 hours later between Japan and America, but they send Email at 12:00 a.m. on February 24th. My family told me that they are looking forward to me speaking in English well. I thought I want to speak English well when I saw this mail.

It was snowing today. I was happy because it was snowing on my birthday. Then, there was a plan to meet my host family today. I haven't been told who is my host family yet, so I was little nervous, but they were very kind, and they made me feel happy when I went to their house. After match up, I had a lot of time to spent alone. I didn't know why I was lonely. My group members were not in my dormitory. After dinner, I was called by my friends and I was picked up by them and take into basement of my dormitory. They planned surprise birthday party for me. My group member, Misato, has a birthday on February 28th, so they also planned her birthday party.

At the birthday party, they sang the birthday song for us. I realized why my group members have gone from noon. They seemed to be making presents. Their home made cake was very delicious and decorations of room was so cute. I laughed all the time. We took many pictures. They are my treasures. Some of other friends gave me some birthday cards too. This also surprised me. After the party, I cried when I read their messages. I thought I have many nice friends. I will not forget today. Thank you to my friends and I love you!
