I went to skating with my group members and my RA on Friday in downtown, Spokane. I was looking forward to skating and had a little afraid because I have never skated before. In addition, I have never roller-skated either though it resembles skating. After dinner, we went there by bus. I was excited because my RA told us her family would come, and what's more that day was her father's birth day. We practiced singing the birthday song for him. When we sang it, I was glad because he looked happy. After that, we hired skates for 2.75 dollars. How cheap! If I want to skate in Japan, it 'll take about 15 dollars.
My friends, my RA and RA's sister taught me how to skate. It was difficult to walk even with skates. My friends advised me to bend my knees and not to slant back. Because I did my best, I skated a little. I enjoyed skating. However, regrettably, I couldn't take pictures though I brought my camera. The reason I forgot to take pictures was because I absorbed with skating!
After skating, we went to Starbucks. I drank Chai-tea which tasted like cinnamon. This is my RA's favorite. I liked it too. I thought we could become better friendly than before. I would like to go skating again because I want to be able to skate well. By the way, next day I had a muscle pain because of a lack of exercise.
