Cooking&Sports Day by Shoko

Mar.1

Saturday is coming! I love weekends, because I can do everything I want to do. Today, I enjoyed my weekend. After brunch, my friends, Yumie and Asuka made some "okonomiyaki" which is a popular food in Kansai. "Okonomiyaki" is mainly made from some flour, dashi, vegetable and meat, but they did not have meat, so they used some sausages we ate at brunch! They were so smart I thought. They gave me their hand-made "okonomiyaki", and it was so great. I want to go back to Japan a little. I really miss Japanese food. In the afternoon, it was my turn to use our kitchen! I made a whole apple pie! At first, I planned to make the American style apple pie, but I wanted to eat and make boiling apples, so I made the Japanese style, I forgot to put the yolk on the crust, but it was very good baking. Then I ate it with my group. Everyone said to me,"Good job!" and some said, "Marry me!" or "You will be a good wife!" I was quite happy. After that, I played badminton and volleyball with my friends in front of my house. It was so exciting. At last, we practiced volleyball for Monday, because we have P.E. class. Before dinner, I ran around dorms, it is my routine now. When I was in Japan, I hated running, especially a marathon, but now I enjoy running very much. What is happened to me? However, there are very good routine for me. I want to continue to do these things for myself and my friends who are looking forward to my sweets!
