Very fun tutorial

My RA's name is Jenny. She is studying to be a nurse at Intercollegiate College of Nursing. Her hobby is running so she always enjoys running. She is very cute and kind. She also thinks about us and plans fun things for tutorial.

On February 13 in tutorial, we played games and talked about what we are excited about or afraid of. We sat on the floor in a circle and talked over these topics. I said that I'm excited to stay with an American family and afraid of my English because I can't speak well in tutorial. When I was feeling a little depressed, Jenny told me "I think your English will improve quickly." Her words made me happy and encouraged me.

On February 14 in tutorial, Saint Valentine's Day, our group made cards which gave to dormitory's friends. We also made chocolate cookies with Jenny. It was difficult for me to make cookies but it was a very fun activity because we could cooperate with members of my group and cookies were very delicious. We gave cards as a present to each other after we ate cookies. I was happy because I've never received a card from a person on Saint Valentine's Day. In Japan, we don't get letters or cards from another people. We give people who we love chocolates with a letter or card. It is our custom so most people in Japan give chocolates. I like Saint Valentine's Day in America because we don't have to worry about a boyfriend even if we don't have boyfriend!
