Happy Valentine's Day

Today was St.Valentine's Day. It is the nice day, because it is connecting romantic words such as the Cupid, Lovers, Proposal... , and we can get some chocolates! I have heard that in America, both men and women give important parsons various presents such as a flower, cakes and a card. In Japan, only women give boyfriend some chocolates. There is difference between America and Japan. So I have looked forward to today.

The first happiness that Isabelle gave me two chocolates in Reading Class. There is no the custom in Japan, so I was happy. American chocolates are very very sweet, but I like them. They are delicious!

The second happiness that we made cookies with my RA, Mary and friends in Tutorial. The cookies taste was chocolate and they had a lot of sugar and butter, so I began to worry about my weight, but after all, they looks were very good! In fact, they were very delicious, and they were not so sweet. We held Cookies Party!! I ate many cookies. After that I gave Valentine's Card to Mary. She was delighted, and hugged me. I was tense, because I'm not accustomed to being hug, but I was very happy! Today, I had realization of different culture.
