On March 31st and April 1st, My days were calm. I had no plan to go out anywhere and I wanted to sleep a lot or read a book. On Saturday, I read the book “Jyuunikokuki” which is a Japanese book. I like it so I brought it from Japan. This is a kind of fantasy book. I want to read it but it is too long to read so I hadn’t enough time to read it. However, I read it for two and a half hours on Saturday so I was very happy!! Next, I made picture of origami. I tore some different origami colors into pieces and stuck them together to make a painted picture. I spent two and half hours to complete my work. My friend praised it so I was very satisfied with my work. Also, my friend said “why did you make it?” I said “because just to enjoy it !” After dinner, I went to the library to watch the DVD, “Charlie and the chocolate factory”. I had not watched before but I had watched the VHS, “Willy Wonker and the chocolate factory.” I like Jonny Depp but I like the older version because I think the feeling of the old characters are very good. I enjoyed watching this movie.

On Sunday, I did all my homework. My friends made some cabbage crepes which are called okonomiyaki in Japan. My friends gave them to my group members. I ate it and I liked it very much. After that, I went to the library to watch the DVD, “The Phantom of the Opera.” This movie was recommended to me by my sister so I had wanted to watch it. I like watching movies so I want to watch most of the DVDs in the library. I have already watched eight library movies. Most of all, I like “The Phantom of the Opera”. This story is so sad and I was crying while I watched it but here was in the library, so I had to not cry to loud. When I finished watching it, I couldn’t forget this movie’s song for a long time.
After dinner, my friend, Ayako and I made okonomiyaki for my RA, Alex. I enjoyed making it but we forgot to open the window. What do you think happened after that? The fire alarm rang through Covington because there was a lot of smoke. We were surprised and paniced. I opened the window but it was too late. The alarm continued to ring and a few students went outside. I was very sorry for them. If I had opened the window before it would not have happened. I regretted it but I had to continue cooking it because we had not finished cooking. I spent my energy on finishing okonomiyaki. I was tired but I enjoyed cooking. My weekend was not so exciting but I was satisfied with it.
