My Second Family

I went to homestay last Saturday and Sunday. I had a good time. There are five people in their family but two older sons live by themselves. The father, the mother and 16 years old daughter welcomed us. There are very kind and interesting

On Saturday, they picked us up 9:00 a.m. and went to eat the breakfast. We ate a waffle with fresh cream and strawberry jam on top. It was very large and too sweet for me. Then we went to a few parks to do treasure hunting. I didn't understand their English at first, but we found the treasure quickly, I could understand the rules and I felt it was very interesting. If we found a treasure, we could open the box and write our manes and change our treasure for other treasures. I wanted to do it more. Then we went to the University of Gonzago and entered the Art museum. I was surprised that the museum had CHIFLI ART. I was happy to see it. The University of Gonzago was very big and had beautiful buildings. On the way home, we stopped at 31 flavor ice-cream shop and I ate an oreo corn. It had vanilla ice and oreo chips. It was very good. then we came home. While we were watching our pictures, our host mother made us popcorn. It was also delicious. We played card games and jenga. We enjoyed it. Then we ate a hamburger for dinner. My host father's BBQ was also very good. On Sunday, we went to church, but I was very sleepy because I couldn't understand the English. Then English was very fast. Then we made Soba which is Japanese noodles for them for lunch, and the father also made BBQ salmon. They ate Soba. It looked delicious. We were very happy. Then we also played card games. Then we did bowling. American's lanes are narrower than Japanese lanes, so it was difficult for me.

Through this homestay, I think my conversation skill was very bad because I couldn't speak to them. When they spoke to us, we only answered. I felt reglet. So I want to improve my conversation skills. During this story, I had a very fun time. The next time, I want to more conversation.
