Recent School Life

I have several classes at MFWI. When I first came to MFWI in February, I was very nervous. I thought classes would be very difficult and I wouldn't be able to understand, but this was groundless. Every teacher is kinder than teachers in Japan so I can enjoy my school life.

I will introduce my school life. I have to give presentations with the other person in conversation class so I have to think about my new character. I want my new character to be a farmer but I don’t know much about a farmer. This subject is very difficult for me and next week, I have test too. We talk with Mary Lou about anything. I’m thinking of questions. I am worried about this subject but I look forward to this class. Next, I always write a journal. I don’t like this homework because I can’t type well so I can’t use a computer well!! However, I do my best every day. Every week, I spend my time typing in the journal. On March 21st I make a poem which was very exiting. My poem was about tense. In my reading class, I read many books. I am happy when I have this class. I like Ellen very much. I especially like my reading class because I like reading very much. Recently, I watched the DVD “Little Women.” I like it because I have three sisters too. In my American Studies class, I learned about the way to behave when I go to the foreign country. In my grammar class, I learned about verbs. I don’t like grammar so I can’t speak English fluently. I’m so sad… Finally, in my music class, I sing some songs. I sing America the Beautiful and I’m a Believer and the American national anthem and more. I think the American national anthem is very difficult. I think this song is tongue twister so I can’t sing this song well. All of my classes are good for my English skill.

I also belong to MUKO news so I must type more than the others. I wrote about the Seattle trip but Susan had a mistake!! I wrote about on Sunday only but I found my name on two other articles that I didn’t wrote. I will write about WhitWorth College. This article is due on April 3rd so I have to type it soon. Every Tuesday, I have a meeting about what I should do next. We speak our opinion and we decide our next articles. I enjoy MUKO news too.

I think American classes are very interesting, thus I love my school life. By the way, I spent more than one and a half hours typing this. I prepared the contents yesterday because I can’t type well. I want to type well so I will practice all day long. When I lived in Japan, I couldn’t think about living in America. I was a very afraid of MFWI but I am very fun now. I will keep trying to study new things. Therefore, I have to be active with my curiosity.
