My Happy Weekend

This weekend, some of my group mates went to Seattle, so the rest of us, five of us stayed on campus. On Saturday, I went shopping at Northtown with my friends. We had enough time for shopping, so we tried to look around at all the stores there. I actually could not look at all of them because there were too many, but we did our best. There were a lot of clothes for spring in the mall and I bought a pretty T-shirt. I also drunk a shake, which was banana flavored with tapioca. It was quite delicious. I loved it very much. On Sunday, I went shopping with my friends again. This time, we went to the Valley mall. It was my first time to go there. The mall looked like Northtown, because stores there were similar. I did not buy any clothes there, but we went to a good donut shop. The donuts tasted very good!! I bought one for my roommate who was traveling in Seattle. I became very tired, because I walked a lot this weekend, but I really enjoyed shopping.

After dinner on Saturday, I and my group mates watched some short movies on the Internet. They were impressive stories and made us cry a lot. We all cried when we watch a story about a grandmother. This story tells about a man's memories with his grandmother. He liked her very much, but he could not be kind to her. Then she was died at last and he missed her very much and remembered the memories with her. He told us to care of other people. It was wonderful time for us, because we were moved very much by watching videos. We promised each other that we would watch such kind of stories again when we go back to Japan.

I usually stay with my roommate every weekend, but I was with other group mates or friends this week, because she was in Seattle. I felt lonely a little, because I was alone in my room. Being with other friends, I had wonderful weekend and I became better friends with them. I think I could find other good friends this weekend and it was good chance for me to be close to others.
