Bloomsday by Mami

Today, I took part in Bloomsday in Spokane. The weather was very good. I got up at 5:00am in the morning. It was very cold, but it became warm in the afternoon. There were many people downtown, such as families, couples, old people and athletes. I arrived there too early, so I had to wait until the race start. The race started at 9:50am. Many people started to the same time, so at first I couldn't quite walk straight. I walked with my friend Arisa. We had enjoyed a nice view as we were talking at the race. Some people performed here and there. Some people demonstraited about war or election. Especially, to my surprise, many people wore florid clothes. It took about three hours to finish. my legs were very sore, but my heart was very comfortable. I had never taken part in a marathon, so it was good for me to pxperience bloomsday in America. This day is the best memory for me.

Pizza Party by Mami

We had a pizza party at today's Tutorial. My heart was very excited because I imagined that Aamerican pizza is bigger than Japan's pizza. I didn't eat some snaqcks after lunch to eat a pizza. At 5:00pm, a deliver a pizza brought to our house. The pizza was about one meter. Everyone was very excited! It tastes broil. I like it, so I ate too much. When I'm eating the pizza, I felt that if I go back to Japan, I won't be able to eat such a big pizza. I took many pictures. I"ll show this picture to my friends when I go back to Japan. After eating the pizza, we ate a cheesecake as desert. It was very delicious. Today's dinner was very gorgrous. I was very satisfied. I want to find the big pizza in Japan.

My Best Memories of MFWI

My best memories of MFWI are the friendship and relationships of teachers. First of all, my group connected to one group and another group and the other group in Japan. We weren't friendly with each other at first. However, the more we spent time together, the better our friendship became. We pland a surprise party for every groupmate's birthday. It was amazing! In order for the party to be a success, and the birthday girl to be surprised, we had to cooperate with each other. Our cooperation was perfect!! It was the cooperation that made the plan successful. Secaond, MFWI has a lot of great teachers!! The teachers are very kind to me and think of me. Currently I feel I will miss them after I go back to Japan. The relationship with friends and teachers has helped to grow up!! The relationships are the best memories that I can never forget.

My Best Memories of MFWI

I will never forget my 19th Birthday at MFWI. Before my birthday, I was afraid that nobody would celebrate my birthday, because I did not think everyone knew my birthday. So I said to a few of my friends."Please celebrate my birthday." However I was not sure if they would. How afraid I was to not to be celebrated!!! Surely I did not expect the party. That night, my friend said to me, "Let's go to the basement to do exercise to lose weight!!" But I didn't want to do exercise, so I refused. But my roommate said. "Everyone does exercise, so let's go!! It will be fun, I will bring my camera. You should bring your camera!!" I reluctantly decided to go, but without my camera. When I opened the door, everyone began to sing "Happy Birthday." I was really, really surprised, because I didn't expect that, so I said, "Please tell me 'Happy Birthday' " I was really touched and happy, so I suddenly cried. I felt how happy I was to have nice friends. I'll never forget my most surprised and happiest 19th Birthday in MFWI.

My Best Memories of MFWI

My best memory is that I could meet many wonderful people. Surely, the Seattle trip and the East Coast Trip are very great memories, but I'm really the happiest to meet all the people that I have. First, our teachers are very, very wonderful. Evey teacher is kind and funny, and they always helped us. I enjoyed class through them. Some teachers made me happy, the others supported me. I really thank them. Second, my RA is very, very kind. When we went on the East Coast Trip in the morning, she also got up very early and saw us off. And when we went back to our dormitory from the trip, she was still awake for us and she made cupcakes for us. The day we finished the TOEIC test, she made snacks for us. Also, if someone looks sad, she cared for them. I talked with her may, many times.Third, my hostfamily is very great. They remembered everything that we talked to them about. If we told them that we like something, they did it for us. And they always asked about our experience at MFWI, and they heard our story with a smile. I have stayed three times, but they prepared different things. So, I was really glad to meet lovely people.

My Best Memory of MFWI

My best memory of MFWI is meeting a lot of people and they are all kind and friendly. My teachers are so kind and active, so classes are always fun for me!! I sometimes wanted not to study English, but my teacher encouraged me and told me, "It's important to keep on studying." My friends are also kind and fun!! When I had trouble studying, my classmates helped me. My housemates also took care of me when I was sick. Iwas very impressed by their kindness. My RA is a very good friend, too. She did a lot of things at Tutorial for us. Having parties, playing many games, watching movies and so on were all very fun and good memories. When I was sad, she hugged me kindly. Iwas very happy to feel her kindness. All of them are so good and precious people in my life.

My Best Memories of MFWI

One of my best memories of MFWI is dormitory life. I lived in Covington. There are many students and RAs, so I can talk with them everyday. I especially enjoyed the secret birthday parties. There are 4 birthday people during my MFWI life, therefore, we celebrated their birthdays. First, I enjoyed planning birthday party secretly. And then, I was glad to see their happy faces. At some of the parties, we ate a huge pizza! I had never seen such a big pizza, so I was surprised when I saw it, but we soon ate all pieces of the pizza. :) I love my group members. We always help each other and enjoy everything! I'm happy to live in Covington and I spent all the time with great friends. If I was not in this group, I might not be able to enjoy MFWI life...

My Best Memories of MFWI

My best memories are everything about MFWI. I can't decide only one because I love MFWI, and my friends, teachers. When I came here, Iwas worried about my English skill but teachers are very kind to us. I became so happy and I began to feel that English is fun. So, I could enjoy my life at MFWI. Of course, I enjoyed many events. For example, the Sattle trip and the East Coast trip, Homestay weekend, etc. I spent a great life at MFWI. In addition, Bloomsday was great. I don't like running but Bloomsday was very fun because Spokane citizens were very friendly and kind to us. So I had fun. I hope to come back here someday. MFWI has taught me many important things, so I loveMFWI. Thank you.

My Best Memories of MFWI

My best memories of MFWI are meeting many people such as teachers, new classmates and my RA. All of them were very kind to me and they always relaxed me. Teachers were so kind and active so I could take all classes with joy. My classmates were so funny! However, first I was a little nervous because there was only one person that I knew, so almost all the students in my classes were new to me. But soon I could begin to be friendly with them because maybe they are so cheerful and funny. I was so lucky because I could take all of my classes with them. My RA was so beautiful and kind. She always gave us smiles and sometimes she told us some funny stories and also her tutorial was so fun and exciting. I learned a lot of American games from my RA Jenna. There are many things that I will miss because maybe I have no chance to take current classes and to take classes with current classmates after I go back to Japan. This my life at MFWI, a special daily I will never forget because it is my treasure.

My Best MFWI Memory

My best memory is the east coast trip. I had been looking forward to going to Boston and Washington D.C since I learned about them in American studies class.
My highlight of the east coast trip was seeing The White House, although I couldn't approach it. It is different from my image, but beatutiful. I wanted to approach and meet the President. I hope to visit there again with my family.
Next, the Smithsonian was the most interesting place for me. There are many museums, so I was likely to get lost. Sometimes, people spoke to us in Japanese. We were very surprised at this, but it's very funny.
This is why my best memory is the east coast trip, although I had many troubles.
