Home stay by Sonoko

The end of last month, my roommate and I went to home stay. My host father is a bike shop owner. He is kind, funny and good at cooking. The first night, he prepared wonderful Mexican food! It was so good. He told us he took over 4 hours to cook dinner. I was surprised and I felt happy. My host mother is a teacher in an elementary school.S he is calm and beautiful, and I really like her. They have 2 daughters. The older sister's name is Natalie, and she is 7. She is so cute and smart. We became good friends. We enjoyed Origami, Otedama, and UNO. The younger sister's name is Violet and she is 3. She is full of energy. She taught me many American animation characters. My host family is perfect! I think I am lucky. The next day, we went to their friend's house to take part in a party. There were many children. I enjoyed it very much. On the final day, my roommate and I made Takoyaki. Takoyaki makers are rare in U.S, but they had one, so we could make it. Our meal was not good looking, but it tasted good. My host family was very pleased. My home stay program became a great thing.
