Good culture of Japan

On April 19th I went to Downtown with Yuki, because we took part in Japan Week as photographers. First we went to Auntie's Bookstore. A woman did a picture-story show (kamishibai). This woman was not Japanese, but she talked it very well. She read three books. They were very famous. One of them was a issun-boshi. This story is a fairy tale about One-Inch Boy goes on a trip to seek his place in the world. I have read all them, so I felt good old.

After that we went to River Park Square. I thought about how to take good pictures, so I took a lot of pictures. Maybe over 100! Taking pictures was very interesting for me. I also enjoyed looking at Bon-dance and drum presentation at this mall. My friends took part in Bon-dance. They were so cute!! A few RA did drum presentation. They were so cool!! When I looked at the performance, I wanted to go to summer festival in Japan. I thought I want many people to come a temple festival in Japan.

The other day, I introduced Japan for visitors in Commons. I showed them calligraphy! I have no qualifications to do this, but I like it, so I took part in the MFWI Family Festival. When the event started, a few people came to the calligraphy area. We wrote their name in kanji. Trying the figure out the name in kanji was difficult, but very interesting, and people looked happy, so I was glad and enjoyed it. Through these events, I noticed beauty of Japanese culture afresh.
