Reverse

I heard from my teacher that if we are invited by someone, we have to go 5-10 minutes late in America, but In Japan, we have to go 5-10 minutes early, so I was surprised when I heard it. In America, the person who invited someone needs time to prepare for visitor, so we have to go behind rendezvous time. In Japan, it is common sense to go early, so if we go there late, people will worry. So in Japan, the person who invited someone will prepare until rendezvous time. I am Japanese, so I think that it is common to go early, but if I go early in America, I will be thought not to know courtesy from American. So if you go to a strange country, you should study common sense about there.
