My New Family

Today I had a match-up with my hostfamily at commons. My roommmate and I were very very very nervous. At 12:30 p.m. our host father, Mark, and his daughter, Rachel, who was 16 years old, arrived. His wife and son could not come, because son was sick. I was very sorry for him. Mark and Rachel were very very very kind and interesting, so we opened up to each other quickly. Mark is an elementary school teacher, so his explanations were easy for us to understand. At first, he told us about his son. He is the best fisherman in Spokane. I was very very very surprised at that. I am looking forward to meeting him. We got along with Rachel, because our hobby is shopping and we love chocolate. We promised to go shopping and cook Japanese food and sweets. Also, they showed me a picture of their house which is unbelievable huge. I can not wait for a homestay!!
