first week

The welcome banquet was held at Commons. I was very excited and enjoyed it very much. The Commons meal was good sometimes it was very greasy and strange. It is disgusting there were two teachers at my table. We talked about the stress of Japanese language. For example “Ame” means rain. We say “Ame” in Osaka but they say “Ame” in Tokyo. I had really very meaningful time.

In addition I went shopping for the weekend. My group had a little time so I didn’t buy anything. Down town is a very joyful town. I saw Macy’s begin first. Next day we went to North town I had 20 minutes only. I bought nothing again. While I saw “Victoran’s secrets” I felt happy. I will go to North town again. I want to buy many clothes. Since I didn’t brought clothes from Japan. I knew to take a bus.

In addition I want to watch a movie because I like movie and they’re shown first in the U.S.

2/14 there was Valentine’s day. We had a Valentine’s party. My RA bought chocolate cake. It was so sweet. In addition we exchanged Valentine’s cards. I’m poor at making a card but I did my best!! I had a very happy time with everyone in America.
