Adventure at the airplane by Saki

I went to the East Coast for about one week. It was very exciting and fun for me. At first, our airplane was grounded because of computer trouble, so we couldn't take off easily at the beginning of our trip. In the airplane, one of the passengers told us a funny story and made us happy. Then, we sang a song and talked with him. He changed this gloomy mood to an adventure. I was very surprised that the passengers were always laughing and showing an optimistic attitude. Afterwards, we were put off the airplane and got some meal coupons and waited for nine hours in the Spokane airport. We were very confused, but wasted time talking and ate too many meals. I went to Starbucks and ordered a grande size vanilla frappuccino. I usually order a smaller one, but this time we could use the coupons from Northwest Airlines, and we didn't get charged when using the coupons, so I ordered the bigger one. I was tired and a little bit crazy about sweets then. I really enjoyed that trouble. After we arrived at Minneapolis, the next airplane had already taken off. We couldn't make a connection to Boston that day. Besides, our suitcases were already in the airplane and we couldn't take them out. We decided to stay at the hotel in Minneapolis, but Northwest made a mistake about it, so we were being sent from one hotel to another. We arrived at the hotel at almost two o’ clock. We were disappointed about a succession of misfortunes, but I decided to change my mind, so it was a very good experience for us. I learned one thing through this adventure. If we change our feelings positively, we can enjoy any trouble, so it’s up to us!
