I went to Seattle 29 Feb to 2 March. It was very exciting! On Friday, we went to the Columbia River. The view was very nice, and the river was very wide. Then we went to Seattle. It was a really big city and a lot of buildings were there. Many people walked quickly, so the town was crowded. The road has a lot of slopes, so the drop was very big. In Seattle, we went to Safeco Field where the Seattle Mariners play baseball. At that place, I saw some VIP rooms and learned about the team owner. I learned about baseball too. Next, we went to the shopping mall in Seattle. We went to the original Starbucks shop. After that, we went shopping. There were many stores. We could not see all of them, but I enjoyed shopping!
On Saturday, I went to Olympia by bus. Olympia is the capital of Washington. We visited the capital. It was really great because there were a lot of decorations at the Museum and at the Washington State History Museum. We learned about Native Americans, war, industry and American life. It was really interesting because there were a lot of statues and dummies, so we could enjoy seeing it. Next, we went to Tillicum Village on Blake Island, taking a ferry. The view of Seattle from the ferry was very beautiful, and we enjoyed Native American dances.
On Sunday, we arrived at the University of Washington. The campus was built many years ago, but it was really beautiful. We walked around there. It took 20 minutes to see all of the buildings. Next we vitited the Space Needle. When we went there, the weather was good, so we could see the beautiful view. The Space Needle is the best symbol in Washington. Finally, we went to Pike Place Market. The people were friendly, and the food tasted good. Some people played the guitar, so I like this town. In conclusion, I felt that Seattle is a big city, and America is a huge country. In comclusion, during this trip, I saw both good and bad points in America, so I want to learn a lot about America, and I am looking forward to going on the East Coast Trip.
