My Host family

I had match-up with my host family March 10. Atsuko who is my roommate and I were a little nervous. We were worried whether we can keep a conversation going with our host family. We had no idea about what we could talk about with our host family. Most students had match-up on March 9 but my host family couldn't come on that day. First, we went to Commons to meet them. Then we heard someone came into Commons. Then we thought our host family was coming and we were very nervous. However, she was Mieko who is an adviser. We were relieved and laughed together. At last our host family came to Commons.

We were a little relieved because they had a gentle countenance. My host family is a man and a woman. We went to get our food and drink with them. Then we were going down the steps in Commons. Suddenly, I missed my step and I fell as I held a cup full of tea. I was OK but I was very ashamed because there are my host family behind me. After that we talked with each other. I heard my host father has responsibility of certain building and field. My host mother is a high school teacher. She teaches French. They have eight cars. I'm sure they are very rich. I'm looking forward to going to their host family.

They have cute family. They have two dogs and one cat. I like dogs so I'm looking forward to playing with them. Then my host family will take us to church. They said it is Easter. I don't know about Easter. They will make pizza and we will make Okonomiyaki. I hope they will like it.
