My Homestay

I went to homestay that day. First, I was very, very nervous, but my homestay mom smiled and said, “Are you nervous? Don’t be nervous. Open your mind and you are one of my family.” Then, I wasn’t nervous When we arrived at host family’s house, we were met by hostfather and hostsister. Then, we ate breakfast with my hostfamily. It was very delicious.

After that , we went to Idaho, but my hostsister couldn’t go because she had a lot of homework. It took us about 30 minutes to go from Spokane to Idaho. First, we went to the lake. It was very big and beautiful and clean, but it was very cold. They said that the temperature in Idaho is lower than that in Spokane, so we couldn’t walk around it. Next, we went shopping, in an art shop, clothes shops, shoes shop, a music shop and so on. It was a lot of fun. Finally, we went bowling. I couldn’t win. My hostfather reached the goal first, and I came in second, and my roommate finished third. After that, we went to the amusement arcade and played the game. American game was very interesting, and we went to my host uncle’s house. Then, we watched basketball game. While we cheered a team, we ate dinner. It was very delicious.

I had a great time that day!
