My strong desire

I went to Sunrise Elementary school in the writing class on February 19. I had looked forward to going there. This is because I like children, I like especially children's smiles and I wanted to see the elementary school in America. I thought there are a lot of differences between Japanese and American school. The floor was laid with a carpet. There were many colors in the school and there ware a lot of original works which students drew. The lovely classroom was interesting for me.

It was a pity I couldn't understand at all what children said. They introduced themselves and they had prepared for us. However I couldn't understand because they spoke English too fast. There were three children in my group. One was boy and two were girl. I thought the boy was a little shy person but his hobby is hockey so I found he is an active person. I wanted to talk to them more. I found how slow our teachers in MFWI always speak English.

Now I think I want to improve my listening skill of English. I want to talk to a lot of people who are from children to old people. Maybe I will go to the school again. I hope I'll be able to understand what they say next time. I have to study English more to accomplish my Strong desire which is to become a better English speaker.
