My pleasure

Last Sunday, I called my highschool friend. I wanted to say to her "Thanks you". She came to see me off at the airport when I departured from Japan. She has been studying to pass an entrance examination for a university for one year. She passed it excellently. But she didn't pass the entrance examination for the university she wanted. So she said to me that she will take a late examination. I hope that she will pass the exam at her favorite university. I'm looking forward to receiving a call from her again soon.

On Wednesday, I went downtown with my friends for a second time. I like shopping. We bought various things. I bought some clothes and four books. I don't like reading but I will try to read English books. I want to improve my English skills,so I will try to do my best in Spokane.

On Thursday, a package was sent to me from my mother. She sent me various things, for example, my knit hat, precooked Chinese noodles, my favorite cookies and a letter. I was especially pleased with my mother's letter. I felt homesick a little when I read it and want to see my mother soon. On the next day, I called her. I felt that she was more kind to me than when I was in Japan. I think that I want to study many things. When I go back to Japan, I can tell her many American things.
