I thought I had a very good time this week. I could go outside with my group members, I could study hard. I can’t believe that my American life only has two weeks left! I have to study English more and I want to have success with my study abroad program.

My Memories of May at MFWI
I like life at MFWI but this week has been hard for me. On Sunday, my group members and RA went downtown to eat dinner at a restaurant. The restaurant we went to were “sushi.com.” I like this place because there are many kind of Japanese food. I have been there twice so I knew what I was going to order. I ordered tempra domburi. However, it was too much to eat so I couldn’t eat it all but I also ordered a dessert. I wanted to eat it but I gave my friends almost all it. After dinner, we went to a mall and drew picture on a plate or a cup. The place where we drew pictures was in a mall. First, we chose a plate or a cup to draw pictures on. I drew butterfly and the word "MFWI" on my plate. The drawing of my friends was a good style so I envied them. I considered various styles but none of them succeeded. I was disappointed. My group members and I enjoyed drawing. Maybe next week, we will be able to get our art.
I was shocked on Monday because I realized I had only three weeks left in America. I thought the time went by so quickly. Next week, I have many kind of events, for example, I will meet WhitWorth College students on Tuesday and I will meet the Sunrise Elementary students on Wednesday. I am very excited!!! I can’t wait for the day. However, this week has no special event except the grammar test. I had to study hard and I had a lot of homework. On Monday, I wanted to borrow the grammar test binder but this binder was already checked out by someone else. I was shocked so I couldn’t study test. Everyone wanted to study for it so the library was full of people. If I had studied grammar before, I could have borrowed the binder. On Wednesday, I had a music class. I like this class because I like to sing songs. When we sing some songs, we have to remember the songs but my class members didn’t remember all the words to the songs. I did my best all the time but my memory was faint too. However, I think I am the best memorizer in class. The day was hard day because I had to do my homework and studied grammar. I don’t like grammar. It is boring. I intended to do it at midnight but I slept as I thought tomorrow would be busy.
As I expected, Thursday was very busy. I like book club but this is a little troublesome. I had my grammar test which was not as difficult as I thought. I was happy. I studied for tomorrow so I listened to a speech and wrote a reflection and made an American studies cover. This was very troublesome. When I made it, my roommate, Yoko, was writing a letter to her secret pen pal in her class. Her class mates write a letter each other. Suddenly, she noticed her class mates are 13 people so one person is left! She thought maybe Mary Lou joined the pen pal activity. When I heard it I suspected something. I asked her to show me her pen pal letter. Yes. I was proved right. Her pen pal is Mary Lou!! I noticed and told her my suspicions. She was very surprised and panicked. How could I know who she was? I knew because the letter was written by someone's left hand. When I had my last class, Mary Lou wrote words on the blackboard and used her left hand. I was surprised but it was fun. I wrote short words for her so I was waiting for her next action.
I thought I had a very good time this week. I could go outside with my group members, I could study hard. I can’t believe that my American life only has two weeks left! I have to study English more and I want to have success with my study abroad program.
